Cadenhead’s has been bottling spirits from Aberdeen since 1842, and its rum arm carries the same house habits: dated distillations, cask strength where the spirit calls for it, and labels that tell you the distillery, year and outturn rather than dressing things up. The range leans heavily on aged pot-still rum — Caroni, Port Mourant from Uitvlugt, Enmore, Rockley Barbados, Hampden and Fiji among them — much of it matured continentally in Europe.
