    A REV reference for many — voted RumX's best rum of 2022. Deep, oily and complex with plum, black tea and chocolate. One taster found it dark and a touch flat for his palate.

    Loved across the board as a deep, oily Demerara full of licorice, leather and dark chocolate. A couple of tasters flag a metallic, medicinal edge, and one called the palate less complex than the nose.

  9. Best for: Demerara fans wanting tropical-aged depth without the Velier price

    Loved as a tropical Demerara with chocolate, coffee, caramel and great balance. Most find the high ABV well-hidden. The recurring catch: some want more complexity and a touch more grit.
