06.04.2019 Nice relaxing day at home with nice samples. Notes Medium dark to dark in colour. Nose: balanced, wood, roasted, raisin, light caramel, tobacco, rubber. Palate: oily, wood, roasted, dried fruit, medium dry, light smoke, rubber, faint tar. Finish: long and warm, wood, light smoke, rubber, dried fruit, mint.

1997 cross-tasting of continentally aged releases: Great HTR profile, heavy sweetness, wood, spices, excellently integrated alcohol. Very easy-drinking rum.

14-02-2025 This one ended the night. Would like to retaste. Classic Caroni notes. But were missing something I quit can’t put my finger on. Don’t get me wrong, it was really good, but something were missing for it to be excellent
