Liquid Treasures Foursquare Rum Session No.9 2010

7.9/10
Rated by BjörnNi 🥃, Gunnar Böhme "Bauerngaumen" 🤓 & 17 more

Most people land somewhere positive on this, but it splits over the Sauternes finish: several call the wine influence dominant in a good way, while a couple feel it tips "too sweet, too much wine" and buries the Foursquare underneath. Expect sour cherry, raisins and dried fruit, a little coconut and chocolate, with light tannins from the cask. Cask strength, so there's some heat.

  • Sour cherry, dried fruit
  • Distinct wine finish
  • Easy daily sipper

Aggregated from 19 community reviews.

Wine-finished Foursquare, fruity and quite sweet A Foursquare where the wine cask runs the show. Many find the sour cherry and dried-fruit mix lovely; a few say the Sauternes turns it too sweet and overwhelming on the palate.

Wow, was soll ich sagen? Einfach ein gelungener Foursquare. Das Finish ist der Wahnsinn.. Hier kommt der Rotwein sehr gut raus. Ansonsten Kirsche und Trockenfrüchte. Sehr stark.

Feine Sache!

Nice rum, very easy drinking. Not the best from foursquare, but nice to have it nonetheless.

Too sweet, too much wine influence. The nose is pretty nice, prunes and red fruits, some coconut and chocolate. A bit of wine is already noticeable, it becomes overwhelming drinking, and here's where the rum is ruined, because all the traits on the nose are found also drinking, but too much wine is there
