Un rhum de base, très classique et sommaire. On retrouve au nez des fruits secs, enveloppés par la gourmandise du chocolat, du caramel et de la vanille. Une légère trame de boisé jeune, de toast et d’épices douces se profile à l’aération. La bouche est moelleuse, sirupeuse et très douce. On retrouve la gourmandise du nez, une pointe d’épices, de toast et de noix. Un profil assez simpliste mais qui conviendra à beaucoup de monde. La finale est courte, poivrée, chaude, légèrement boisée et toastée. Loin d’être un rhum incroyable, celui-ci ce distingue de son comparse de Guatemala en étant bien plus savoureux pour le même prix.
