Review by crazyforgoodbooze
for a drinking strength Fiji delivers the here a pretty nice bouquet. nice intense citrus notes (grapefruit and lemon), slightly caramel, however, without becoming sweet but nice and dry and in addition the typical medicinal bicycle tube and bitter iodine notes, which are here but nicely integrated with an intense spicy note of earthy cardamom, as well as spicy turmeric and ginger. i like it! PLV is also absolutely fine!

In der Nase mild und süßlich, leicht floral. Frucht Aprikose, Pfirsich Am Gaumen erinnert es mich an Obstler, sehr fruchtig leicht süß. Abgang ziemlich kurz. Schade

Complex aromas. Nice and dry. A little watered down. Otherwise good
Review by Jack M
Surprisingly pale in colour for 10 years of aging. Probably the least good Fiji I’ve tried so far but by no means bad and the more I’m sipping it the more it’s growing on me. On the nose it’s quite light but it’s perhaps possible to pick out some young wood and citrus (grapefruit) notes. On the palate there’s some dinstinct rubber and pepper. Also woody and an underlying sweetness/ fudge flavour. It drinks quite punchy for its 44% ABV.

Not exactly typical of Fiji, lots of vanillin from the oak barrel.

In the nose impossible to recognize this island. In the mouth too diluted, not enough punch and poorly integrated alcohol... Blind I would never have thought of a Fiji
Review by Alexander Engelhardt
Complex rum that needs its time but then reveals its beautifully complex aroma.
Review by Nik del Rum
Er ist nicht tiefgründig aber solide. Ein Alltag tauglicher Rum.
