#4271 28.09.2023 One of the samples from the Whisky N Rum Show in Copenhagen. Well, this is a relatively cheap rum and you get what you pay for. A light and medium sweet rum with some fruity and floral notes. A bit out of balance between the elements. The empty glass has light chocolate notes.

An sich gefällt mir dieser Rum ganz gut mit seiner leichten, zuckrigen und saftig-grasigen Grundausrichtung. Auch die Eichenfässer geben eine gute Figur ab. Jedoch ist dieser Beigeschmack, der mich komischerweise an zerkaute Insekten erinnert, für mich doch ein bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig und trübt bei mir ein wenig die Trinkfreude.

round thing from Hawaii. somehow similar to West Indies Barbados rums! Could be overall just a little milder, the alcohol is unfortunately not so well integrated... And price-wise I find 55€ for a merely 4y young rum also a bit too much...

Nose: a light rum, vanilla and bourbon dominateMouth: the alcohol is very present, a slight spiciness prevails here. Very mild rum without conspicuousness.Finish: here it becomes a bit more interesting again with roasted flavors and chocolate - but fades quickly again.Very balanced rum but flat and unspectacular.
