Most tasters land in "good but young" territory, with one honest catch: the Málaga wine finish runs the show. On the nose it's overripe pineapple and banana, esters, grapes and roasted wood; the palate turns fruity and spicy before a long, dry, tannic finish. A few note the Monymusk pot-still character nearly disappears under the wine. At 69.8% the heat is mostly well integrated.

Nase: Málaga Wein Finish > Madeira > PX. Am Gaumen für mich die gleiche Reihenfolge. ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass fast umgelagerter MM so eine gute Mischung zwischen LP und NY (aber nicht so fruchtig) sein kann.

Der Dritte im Bunde…eine interessante und feine Serie…bei diesem ist der Alkohol nicht ganz so gut eingebunden und es fehlt die Komplexität

Starker Einfluss vom Malaga Cask. Sehr süß, wer mit Wein Finish kein Problem hat, gern probieren. Der eigentliche MM Charakter ist aber kaum noch zu erkennen. Als daily easy Sipper aber zu teuer.

29.10.2022 whisky & Rum Festival, nice event with a few friends and a few of our own bottles. Pretty good and young rum. Fruity with nice spices and light wood. Long and warm medium dry finish.
