Poured into a Ti' Punch is where this white agricole really clicks, though a few sip it neat too. Expect fresh sugarcane, green vegetal notes, black pepper and a citrus-lime edge, with a pot-still roundness some describe as gourmand. At 56% the alcohol shows; a couple of tasters felt it wasn't perfectly integrated, and fruit takes a back seat to the peppery, herbaceous side.

Nose, alcohol well present. Deserves to breathe.I have pepper, menthol, toasty/bread crust style sensation (typical still). A background of ripe red fruit. In the mouth, alcohol better integrated than the batch 2. The spices (pepper) come out well. The greedy markers of the still are present. It is more greedy, fruity than batch 2. More pleasant. Nice finish, greedy and round.

25.09.2026 - 28.09.2026 Attending the Whisky Live in Paris 2026 with a few good friends. We had a great time and it was nice to introduce them to this event which was a first for them. ------ RETASTING ------ 08.10.2021 Enjoying some samples at home. Notes Transparent in colour. Nose Fresh, sugarcane, faint chocolate, light vegetal, faint coconut, light mineral. Palate Oily, fresh, medium dry, sugarcane, light mineral, medium spicy, spice, light citrus. Finish Medium long, medium spicy, round, sugarcane, light citrus.

Starting with the aged Agricole, later I won't be able to drink it anymore. Of course, a very vegetal piece, floral, earthy, grassy and green. Sugarcane also recognizable, but I find the alcohol too poorly integrated.

Tasted this rum during Whisky Live Paris 2026. It’s a blend of pot still distillates produced from different kind of canes, but mostly red cane (R579). The nose is complex, fresh and herbaceous with scents of licorice, brown sugar and grass At the palate it’s fresh, fruity, mineral, spicy and oily with flavors of citrus and pepper. The finish is rather long.

On the nose, there are scents of cane and the sweetness of red cane is found with lemon, pepper. The palate is livelier, the spicy pepper expresses itself more. The sweet side of the cane recedes to make way for vegetal/lime. Finish is cane, iodized, vegetal.

Powerful! In summary, my tasting notes: On the nose: Floral, Citrus A finish with spicy notes, It's gourmand, quite round, but for me it lacks a little something, especially at this price.

Great nose! It has a nice body and good alcohol integration. Even though it is a bit peppery, I would call it soft. It feels quite creamy and heads towards licorice but does not fully hit that note. I am not fully blown away but it is definitely a good executed agricole.

Nice strength, a peppery-herbal side that dominates in my opinion. It’s a shame there’s little fruit on the palate. A quality white but it won’t be my favorite.
