Wieder einmal eine sehr schöne Abfüllung. In der Nase sehr fruchtig und süß. Im Geschmack dann etwas würziger. Etwas mehr ABV würden hier bestimmt nicht schaden. Vielleicht liegt es auch daran, dass der Alkohol gut eingebunden ist und dadurch alles eine Runde Sache wird. Im Abgang wird es dann etwas herb. Sehr empfehlenswert.

I have ordered all the 15 year anniversary versions and now I know that was a good choice. Wood and vanilla from nose to finish, something I really like. Then there's chocolate and caramel in a nice mix with raisins. A pretty well balanced rum.

Stříbrný adventní kalendář RFC 2024. Mám avízo, že se jedná o jedno z nejlepších belize, a musím říct, že sklamaný nejsem. Sladký těžký nos s tóny čokolády, kokosu a vanilky. Chuťově velmi vyvážený a hladký rum, který mimo očekávané tóny překvapí capuccino závěrem.

Blenders Glass.Aroma dry and mineral, dried fruit.Taste fleeting and usual for rum. Alcohol integrated well.Finish medium length, sour wood.Too easy. Would not take a bottle - no wow effect.1211'5

An der Nase anfangs sehr zurückhaltend. Kokosnuss, Karamell und ger. Nüsse sind auszumachen. Dazu kommen Gewürze und Schokolade. Am Gaumen keine wirklichen Überraschungen, klassisches Belize-Profil. Abgang relativ kurz. In Summe ein solider Travellers.

Wenn man den Rums der Travellers Distillery eine Sache ankreiden möchte, dann die, dass sie sich meist doch sehr ähneln, wenn auch auf hohem Niveau. Diese Abfüllung zum 15jährigen Bestehen von „The Nectar“ ist sehr rund und besitzt eine angenehme Trinkstärke, weshalb sie ideal geeignet ist, um das Grundprofil der Brennerei kennenzulernen. Lecker und ungemein süffig!

Very pleasing Travellers. The reduced alcohol strength provides accessibility here, the typical flavors for classic rums from ex-bourbon barrel aging and thus also of Travellers rums strike through here virtually exemplary: Caramel, vanilla, coconut and a hint of chocolate, plus some coffee, yellow fruit and subtle spiciness from mild pepper.

Today I tasted 20 budget single casks rums. I start to feel, that if the rum is weak, the bottler just put it in ex-bourbon, pineau, strong sour wine cask to give it at least any taste. I preffer rum taste, even if the profile is weak...rather than sour taste of ex-wine cask. And this rum has definitely not weak profile. But is overhelmed by strong taste of cask.
