That green olive note is the first thing you'll notice — brine and olive water sitting next to fresh sugarcane, green apple and pear. This is an unaged Madeira pot-still cane-juice rum, and the copper-metallic edge from the still runs right through it. The 46.6% carries the fruit without much heat. Several members ended up ordering a second bottle.

Nose, a lively and expressive cane. Lime, mint, smells like mojito! Also some tart green apple. On the palate, sweetness of fresh cane, poached pear, spices and a metallic aspect (the pot still is well present). A surprising salty aspect and an astringent finish on green olive, on brine. Maybe divisive but I find it very good in its kind. Another good example of Madeira's know-how.

Solid interesting potstill, nice Agricole nose, the ABV carries it well, overall it’s a cracking white pot still. Starts with a slight floor polish and mango, the mouth is creamy, finishes in light creamy pepper sauce

Really had a good time with this little Madeira, I expected nothing but it's quite fruity, olive, cane. The pot still is felt though, there's a real metallic side, maybe a bit pronounced. Relative heat compared to the stated proof. I still liked the olives & fruitiness.

Nose is very nicely fruity with lots of pear, on the palate a bit less fruity than expected, but still good.

White rums addict rising up this bottle’s rating. 💪🏼 Black currents running up my nose the way, that I actually feel it in the mouth. I am not a huge fan of vegetal taste at the end in other rums. Here it kinda fits. Next trip - Madeira. 🗺

White chocolate on the nose before it opens up to cane. Rarely had so much anise on a rum but more subtle like fennel/fenugreek with a hint of licorice. Lots of fresh cane, pear, a metallic and iodized side that recalls the pure juice pot still production method. The alcohol is well felt despite the 46.6% that scared me a bit as I prefer higher proofs, but no watery side in the mouth. Very good rum!

Excelent Agricole for the value. Strong "green" nose, between green olive and metal varnish. Taste around green olive, metal varnish, raisen style like fig. Please metalic raisen after taste. Great value Agricole for casual siping. Definitely going for another bottle.

It seems weird how all of these newer pot still rums have these weird olive water note. This one manages to hold its weirdness down, because not everything can be Paranubes. Still it is rather pleasent.
