A rum tasted at the GRF in 2025. Just a tiny sip, thank you Kevin. A very smooth and elegant nose. Equally smooth, aromatic, and elegant on the palate. For me, a very fine historical rum. I don't really understand the low scores given by other reviewers. Is this the same rum?

Very mellow yet nice. -------------- 18.11.1995 Sorry if I'm spamming with old tastings, but I'm using it to try and reduce my stress. Work has been really busy lately 😊 I had a 6 week trip around Asia around my 30th birthday. This trip included Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam. During this trip I met a lot of amazing locals that set me up with the spots to get decent rum. This is a really nice bar that still exists in Singapore and a place well worth a visit. Notes. Medium dark colour. Nose: fresh, wood, grass, citrus, floral. Palate: light, fresh, citrus, wood, floral. Finish: medium long, lightly dry, wood, raisin, citrus, vegetal. Gave it 3.5 of 5 stars.
