Tasting evening Round 2 at Dr. Django: Jamaica The start with the Bols is already an exceptional Jamaican... unfortunately it doesn't quite suit my taste... it has too much intrusive licorice and Maggi aromas that run through completely.

The weird Advent calendar day 23 Nose first a bit strange with pear and floral notes… strangely smell cinnamon 🫨🫨 In the mouth it tastes like a Saint James and Jamaica blend 😀 When the rum then stands for 30-45min a lot happens... it opens up nicely and you are rewarded with complex notes with fruits, light acidity and a delicious sweetness of burnt sugar. Really good rum 👍

Tried at the 10th GRF (thanks to Arthur Schönhütte!!): This is liquid history! Not recognized as Jamaica blind, simply unique! Surprisingly little alcohol felt, it drinks well! You have to try it if you get the chance!

Nose: spicy with little fruit, slightly medicinal and at the end something I can't identify. Mouth: very mild, spicy and warm. I also taste chocolate. After some time in the glass, more aromas come out, like coffee and caramel. Great stuff.
