Sip it neat and the first thing you notice is how soft and gently sweet it is — light vanilla, a touch of honey, and a mild peppery-spice edge. Members describe a Jamaican base finished in Denmark with herbs and spices, but the nose is faint: several tasters found "almost nothing" coming through. Pleasant and easy-going rather than deep, and it reads sweeter than expected.

Just retasted this one today and it lost a few points. This rum won the silver medal at the International Wine and Spirit Competition 2019 and it is a nice surprise. The rum originates from Jamaica and is the finished in Denmark adding herbs and spices. All in all a very good rum at the current price tag.

Remains rather pale despite pleasant spiciness. Vanilla, honey, pepper, some fruit and esters are noticeable but seem quite one-dimensional. On the palate, it lacks depth and character, and the finish is short. Overall, more average than truly exciting.

Tasted on the sunny terrace of the holiday home on Fanø about 250m from its place of origin. But that's all the good that can be said about this rum. Very below average, reminds me of the Jamaica blends from the lower supermarket shelves.

Découvert au marché couvert lors de notre visite de Copenhague .lot de 3 samples. C est un peu spice, nez à peine perceptible. Jamaicain très doux en bouche légèrement vanillé, poivre et fruité. Finale très courte.

Pleasant but not outstanding rum. I didn't expect it to be so sweet. Fortunately, I only took a small bottle with me. Smells more like wine in the bottle, but you can't taste anything in the glass. All in all, I'm not really convinced

So far my favorite from Fanø. Unfortunately super flat on the nose, almost nothing comes through for me. Taste-wise only light sweetness and very pleasant spice notes. Tastes soft and is not overly complex. Nice aRum to put on the table in a sociable round.
