The palate dances on still coking wood on which extremely dark chocolate is poured. You have to endure the astringency in the taste and then you will be rewarded with great enjoyment. From nose to finish, there is a hint of orange à la Cointreau. The longer the rum stands, the more intense the chocolate and the milder the alcohol, which is not noticeable from the start despite the almost 61%.

gegenüber dem Rumclub Ed. 10 noch ein Jahr länger im Fass, auf ehrfurchtgebietende 37 Jahre! Klar kommen da an Nase und Gaumen auch die Fassnoten durch, aber diese erschlagen keineswegs alles. Es kommen auch schöne Noten von Schokolade, Sahnebonbon, getrocknete Aprikose. Auf jeden Fall etwas besonderes!

Ein eleganter feiner Rum , der aufgrund des Alters natürlich nach altem Holz und Fass schmeckt, aber sehr zurückhaltend! Sehr lecker

What a wonderful and rare set of drops to enjoy. Beautiful dark colour with long and steady curtains in the glass. Fruity with lots of roasted wood without it being too dominant in near perfect harmony with chocolate and very light caramel. Extremely good ABV integration and you barely feel the alcohol.

Sicherlich der Beste Rum aus Panama den ich im Glas hatte. Die 37 Jahre merkt man ihm an, aber längst nicht so viel Holz und Bitternoten wie gedacht. Insgesamt eine sehr runde Sache mit schöner Süße, leichter Fruchtigkeit, Schokolade, Nuss und leichter Würze. Alkohol top eingebunden.
