19.11.2021 Celebrating my birthday at a bygone local bar with dinner as part of the experience. Notes Light to medium dark in colour. Nose Light roasted wood, fresh, light mint, faint marzipan, faint medicinal, fruits. Palate Medium intense, wood, spice, light spicy, light mint, marzipan, fruits, light medicinal. Finish Long, intense, wood, spice, light citrus, light medicinal, medium dry.

Nose: beautiful spicy/woody/fruity/vanilla. Palate: dark chocolate/pineapple/dried fruits. Finish: superb length on the wood with a slight olive note. Personally, I really like this bottling, a real treat with a superb length. Released at around €80, it was great (for residents of La Réunion or those who know QDD).

Really very good. After 30 minutes of airing, a delight. Very vanilla-forward, lots of fruit aromas complement the palette of smells. Alcohol very well integrated. Superb length.
