Opinions land warm but not unanimous. Most tasters enjoy the port-cask stamp — red fruit, raspberry, blackberry and strawberry over a spiced, woody agricole base. A couple find the port too dominant and the rum itself a touch light and over-reduced. Several call it soft and easy-drinking, but purists after raw cane character may feel the finish takes over the juice.

An inviting nose with a strong woodiness. On the palate, the port is too present for me and brings a je ne sais quoi that I don't like.

Dark color, spicy nose, pastry notes and light oak. On the palate, the alcohol is well integrated, the rum is spicy and supple, and the port finish is light. A very well-crafted product.

a generous nose of fruit, even sweet (too much so).but you can forgive the taste, which is truly original (though very woody and peppery for me) thanks to the hints of port.a nice rum.

On the nose very nice, a lot of red fruits and you really feel the marking of the Porto and the fortified wine. On the palate nice tension right from the start, red fruits, with raspberry added to the blackberry and strawberry. However, you can tell that the rum is quite light, meaning well reduced (too much?) and not aged enough. The marking clearly takes precedence over the base juice. So it's rather very pleasant and I would dare say very feminine or at least very soft and approachable but for the lover of pure juice or molasses from beautiful terroirs it might lack authenticity...
