Poisson Père Labat Clos parcellaire les mangles 2021
Neat it splits the room: some find a sharp glue and brine edge, others a fresh, intensely grassy agricole that needs 15 minutes to open into lime, litchi and sugarcane. Either way it shines in a Ti'Punch or rhum tonic with basil — a few tasters call it their go-to mixer. Pure cane juice, 61%, from Poisson on Marie-Galante.
- Very grassy, fresh
- Great Ti'Punch mixer
- Lime and litchi

How does Poisson Père Labat Clos parcellaire les mangles 2021 taste?
Aggregated from 21 community reviews.
Intensely grassy agricole, best in a Ti'Punch One of the grassiest blancs people have tried — fresh, intense and salty-herbal. Neat it divides on a glue/brine note, but in a Ti'Punch or daiquiri it wins most over.

This rum needs to rest for at least 15 minutes in order to release all those lovely flavours. Very fresh from nose to palate with tropical fruits and vanilla and a hint of cane. This one is better than the one with a lower ABV. Very limited release so get one if you like Agricole.

Pere Labat is always good for a positive surprise. Alcohol is well integrated. Slight sweetness. A very intense bottling with lots of grassy notes, salmiak, olive, herbs. I did not expect this and imo a very interesting bottling.

Very very good white rum. Superb balanced. Vegetal fresh grassy notes. Overripe green grapes. A pleasant sweetness. Easy to drink. Some gin/jenever notes too.

Nose: pear stalk, coconut shell, argave leaf, a little spicy, not my cup of tea Palate: Different than expected, coconut peach, a certain sweetness of cherry and red grape on the finish, only slightly the spiciness from the nose, pleasant

This is the grassiest Agricole I've had in a glass so far, top! A real recommendation
