Most helpful positive review
Classic Spanish style rum, very pleasant, mild, typical vanilla and caramel flavor that comes purely from the barrel without added sugar. Overall a purist and honest rum. Due to the slightly higher alcohol content, it is a bit more 'spirity' than the other age statements, but only minimally, and if that's too much for you, you can add two or three drops of water. In summary, easy to drink, puristic.

This one joins the ranks of Rum Paradise's average rums. Tomorrow the last ones will be destroyed. Here we have dried fruit on the nose, also very alcoholic. The palate is fruity, woody and nutty, and chocolate is recognizable.

The Panamá-Pacific 9 is a wonderfully creamy yet spicy Panama rum. Butter caramel, vanilla, and raisins meet banana, dried cherry, and roasted wood. On the palate, it starts sweet and soft, then cocoa, pepper, and stronger oak come through. I especially like this transition from dessert to a drier woody tone – uncomplicated but by no means boring and pleasantly characterful at 47.3%.
