TRC Australia 2007
Candied apricot and orange up front, then it swings spicy and peppery before a dry, roasted, slightly metallic finish. This 2007 Beenleigh-era Australian pours fruit-forward with caramel, chocolate and young oak underneath. Several tasters call it a proper daily sipper — the 58.2% is mostly well tucked in — though a few note the finish runs short and it doesn't leave a lasting mark.

Fruity, spicy Australian everyday sipper Fruity, spicy and dry, with well-hidden alcohol most call a "daily sipper." The catch: a short finish and, for a few, nothing especially memorable next to other Australians.

I got this bottle for free alongside a larger oder of bottles. Thinking about the price tag you get a lot for your money actually. They really know how to make rum in Australia and this is another good single cask. Light fruit and wood mixed with some caramel and chocolate.

Guter runder Australier.
