Come Hell or High Water XO
Despite the fierce black bottle, what's inside is gentle to the point of quiet: lots of vanilla and caramel, a whiff of orange, and a light toasted-sugar sweetness. Members find it soft and balanced but thin, with a short finish and little depth. One taster caught a bitter note on the way out. Easy sipping, but it reads more like a sweet spiced-style pour than a rum to dig into.

Soft, sweet, short-finished caramel sipper Most find it soft, sweet and balanced, heavy on caramel and vanilla — but short-finished and lacking depth. Pleasant enough, and few call it a highlight.

19/4-24 Rum tasting Peters Vin/DK. First rum Nose: some orange, vanilla, honey, and light flower. First taste: lot off vanilla and honey, and a bitter note Finish: short with some pepper and again some bitter notes..
Review by Mathieu Visiere

Flat, phenolic resin on the nose. Moderately mild in the mouth, too broad a blend, short finish.

Dark, caramel, vanilla.
