If you like Worthy Park but find hardcore hogo too much, this is your lane — a very fruity Jamaican that's more ripe fruit than glue. Ripe banana, pineapple, peach and mango up front, with a waxy layer and vanilla, then pepper and cinnamon warming the finish. At 63.4% it's hot; several tasters say a few drops of water and time in the glass really open it up.

Even at this strength, this Worthy Park by Asta Morris is incredibly soft and smooth, yet also spicy and warm. Notes of vanilla, peach and mango, and a waxy layer make this one elevate over the ones I had before. It’s a highly recommended drop. Nose: typical WP, yet a bit more refined and waxy than I’ve come across before. Ripe banana, black tea, green olive, but a waxy side that I haven’t smelled before in a WP or even in a rum. Peach, mango, baking spice, cinnamon, espresso, vanilla custard. Palate: Beautifully soft, yet spicy, but also rounded and sweet-associated. The WP markers complemented by lush tropical fruit, vanilla milkshake, a hint of mint. Finish: nicely spicy and warming: pepper, ginger and cinnamon lead, the WP funk gets more and more to the background. Some nice tobacco and cigar notes, espresso and a hint of mint.

19.11.2021 Celebrating my birthday at a bygone local bar with dinner as part of the experience. Notes Light to medium dark in colour. Nose Medium intense, fresh, ester, light chocolate, fruity, pineapple, faint peach. Palate Warm, intense, ester, fruity, spice, light chocolate, pineapple, light roasted, wood, light nutts. Finish Long and warm, wood, tobacco, light leather, dried fruit, light chocolate. Extra note. Needs to rest for a good while to really open up.

Pretty good and tasty Worthy Park. I enjoyed it both neat, as well as mixed with Coke. Alcohol is integrated rather well, but adding a few drops of water helps to open it up. Give it some time in the glass.
