23.05.2020 Crazy tasting with lots of participants and a few friends. Notes Medium dark to dark in colour. Nose Intense, wood, tannins, fruity, light herbs, light chocolate, faint smoke. Palate Round, wood, light smoke, fruity, naturally sweet, light floral, light cherry, herbs. Finish Medium long, naturally sweet, light, round, light floral, faint chocolate, faint caramel, light citrus.

Personally, I never had high expectations for Rum Nation bottlings, but here again I was proven wrong. It basically has everything it needs, not a very complex or long-lasting drop, but totally fine for the price.

Today Rum Nation, fruity and spicy on the nose, the typical Agricole note is there but not as dominant as in other Agricoles. On the palate then a nice spice with a very light fruit. The 45% maybe lacks a bit of punch but you still feel some strength. The finish is medium and strong. Salt notes remain.

A fruity aroma, sugar cane, hints of spices, vanilla, and wood. The taste is initially dominated by a hint of whiskey with wood, then the Agricole flavor comes to the fore. The finish becomes sweeter with a slight sharp burn.

I like it. A lot. Haven't tried much of agricole's but are going to after this. I do like the heavy rum raisin nose and taste. Reminds me of the rumraisin icecream i am so fond of. I think it is from Savanna Distillery from what i could gather, and i am searching for more of their distilates.
