A1710 Renaissance 2021

If you already like agricole and its grassy, briny side, this one's easy to love. It leans hard into sugarcane, lime and lemon peel with a real saline streak, and there's ripe pear and a little banana rounding it out. At 52% it's fresh and oily rather than hot for most, though a few feel the alcohol. Dry finish, salt and green notes lingering.

04.07.2025 Retasting and I still like it a lot. Price to quality is very good in my mind. --------------- #5102 Sunday - The last shots before our partners are picking us up 😊 24.01.2025 - 26.01.2025 A nice weekend in my sisters summerhouse with old friends and colleagues tasting a lot of rums. I can only recommend like we did, no phones allowed and then only music in the background 😊 Colour Transparent. Nose Fresh, fruity, banana, light pear, sugarcane, light floral, spice, faint vegetal. Palate Oily, smooth, fresh, fruits, light citrus, light banana, light herbal, sugarcane, medium dry, light vegetal. Finish Medium long, oily, dry, spice, light citrus, light dried fruit. Empty glass Spice, light vegetal, light floral, faint pineapple.

I identify orange, bitterness, which is interspersed with a little acidity and sugar cane prevalent everywhere.

I love it! Pear, salt, vegetable, I love it. Always top-notch, we enjoy it every time we open it! To sum up, my tasting notes: Nose: Pear, Vegetable, Sugar cane On the palate: Lemon zest, Yellow fruit, Salty, Peppery, Pear Finish: Salty, Vegetal. Opened again today, the bottle breathes well and the rum remains instact.

un rhum déstabilisant. j'avoue que je ne m'attendais pas à ce type de goût très "fruits blettes". de plus le goût et le nez sont presque en opposition. Un rhum qui ne m'a pas convaincu.
