Schöne fruchig-holzige Nase,dazu Leder und ein wenig Lakritze. Etwas leicht muffiges kommt mit auch in die Nase. Auch im Mund wieder dieses muffig-medizinische, mit viel Holz, ein wenig Frucht, bitter und trocken. Für die 40% ist der Alkohol recht präsent. Ein interessanter Tropfen, aber nicht mein Geschmack.

A great Agricole with fantastic flavors that really explodes in your mouth. The nose is fruity and spicy. At the palate it’s complex, intense, round, fruity, spicy and sweet with flavors of licorice and sugarcane.

Première bouche extrêment agréable, je peux dire que jaime tout de suite. On sent un côté fruité en début de bouche puis cela tourne au boisé, fumé avec un franc goût de cigare mais transitoire. L’alcool est très bien intégré, très juste. Un excellent rhum. La finale est assez épicée on passe un très bon moment. Il a vraiment un goût assez différent des autres vieux, une signature atypique agréable. On s'ent vraiment un arôme de pomme ! Très spécial

Letzter für heute, und wow, der ist echt nochmal lecker. In der Nase extrem holzig, aber auch sehr fruchtig. Am Gaumen dann ebenfalls die (tropischen) Früchte zu schmecken, aber auch das Holz ist gut erkennbar.

A surprising rum, very fruity on the nose, with peach (the fruit) standing out. On the palate, it's a little hot, but still very fruity, with peach and strawberry, almost artificial like a fruit brandy. It's a shame it's so diluted, but I like its fresh, fruity character. A rum with lots of freshness, very expressive. A thin but fairly long finish.

Die Schokoladennote vom Vieux 7 habe ich hier nicht, ansonsten typischer Agricole mit komplexem Fruchterlebnis, erdigen/pflanzlichen Noten und würzigen Holz. Vor allem muss der Kräutertee an der Nase, der sich dann als Minze im Nachgeschmack äußert, erwähnt werden. Etwas zu scharf und floral für meinen Geschmack, aber sicherlich ein komplexer Top-Rum!
