The nose starts fresh and fruity with intense yogurt cream and strawberry flavor aromas. On the palate, it continues creamy with a fruit candy. A bit dirty with rubber also comes through at the back of the palate. A great Savanna, split coming up.

Bääähm... what an awesome Savanna. Gummy bears, green apple, strawberries... and a bit of glue shape the nose incredibly well. I could sniff sniff sniff 🤣 In the mouth, the nose is reflected, though a bit tamed and with a touch of wood and a slight bitterness.

A very fresh and fruity Savanna! This fruit runs consistently from the nose to the finish... very, very tasty. Today in the glass for the second time: This fruitiness is just brilliant, pure physalis, dreamy, it continues on the palate, mixed with a bit of foamy strawberry candies. I like it! It gets 0.2 points more.

#5212 06.04.2025 Running through some samples while relaxing with the movie Mickey 17. Nose Medium intense, light wood, ester, berries, light vegetal, faint passion fruit, fresh, fruity. Palate Oily, fresh, fruity, light wood, ester, light citrus, berries, light apple, faint glue, light mango. Finish Medium long, fruity, oily, light wood, berries, light apple, faint glue, spice. Empty glass Strawberry, light citrus, light vanilla, light mango. The palate is less intense than the nose, but still a very well balanced release with good ABV integration.

Superb rum great aroma. The nose is a fruity bombée which remains fresh, light, it is superb. Mouth in the same tone. Maturation in cognac marked but which brings a crazy greediness, it is not too vinous. In short, a superb keel! Savanna at its best.

A nose of tart raspberry candy, walnut, banana and pineapple with a slight spiciness. The attack is lively but harmonious. The tart raspberry candy is still there, supported by vegetal aromas, cough syrup and light wood. The finish is long but a little monotonous. At the very end, chamomile and Earl Grey tea come through. Lightness and childhood fragrances, a tasty and atypical Savanna. Delicious!

Super intense nose that delivers on the palate as promised with lots of chewing gum, tropical fruits, and berries. For me, it’s somewhat better in direct comparison with the CDI Savanna (RX308). Alcohol is very well integrated.

A full-bodied, aromatic Savanna, with overripe fruit on the nose in spades (pineapple, strawberry, cherry, raspberry, mango, papaya, banana) before medicinal notes take over, with a hint of spice, wood and smoky notes. This is clearly a Grand Arôme profile, drier but relatively intense. On the palate, we find a sort of harlequin candy with a chemical and synthetic taste, but no less pleasant. Ripe tropical fruit and strawberry go hand in hand with esters, solvents and polish notes. However, a form of sweetness persists over the caramelized, honeyed, sweetness of more traditional Savannas. The alcohol is well integrated. The finish is drier, more tannic, with more advanced notes of fermentation and ripe fruit. Spices, caramel and meidicinal notes form an interesting, if somewhat one-dimensional, whole. A very attractive profile, with aroma, a certain ardor and yet good ripeness.

Insanely delicious and super complex Grand Arome! Strawberry, pineapple, passion fruit, blossom honey with chamomile tea, cinnamon and mint, lightly fermented Virginia tobacco, blanched almonds and marzipan. Perfect alcohol integration. Grenade-like awesome stuff!

This is a revelation compared to the le Must I had before this. Stronger, of course, and much more to taste and enjoy. I like it to roll the rum in the mouth, and this one keeps giving when doing that.

Wow! Great product with an explosion of fruit and this high esters herr aged! Surprisingly enough this bottle is still findable online / cellar. Maybe due to its price which is a bit high for the little aging time but frankly it's a great rum. Strawberry, pineapple and passion fruit come straight to me.

Tasted twice, with a 5cl sample. The characteristic Grand Arôme framework from Savanna is well present. 👃 Fruity esters, tropical (green banana, starfruit) and especially the sour candies from March fairs, strawberry tagada, cotton candy, candy apple, pure happiness. A bit of creamy vanilla like the smell of homemade soaps and nail polish removers. 😋 Alcohol very well integrated. A beautiful liveliness of fruity flavors, the typical pineapple of high esters accompanied by all kinds of spices. Sour and bitter cherry at the end of the mouth. ⛳ Warm, spicy, fruity, small pricks of sour pineapple. An empyreumatic aspect on a bit of young wood smoke. Finish a bit short compared to other GA Wild Island. A fairly young, damp GA chai that has nothing to be ashamed of compared to its elders. Balanced, intense and relatively sweet at the same time. Expensive at release, it has become a good value today. +1 point after the second tasting.

On the nose: Sweet, fruity, estery and candied like notes. Esters, strawberries, green apples, vanilla. Balanced. Taste: Smooth, sweet and fruity. Pineapples and strawberries. Sweet honey as main sweet note. There are light esters and light sour fruit notes in the background balancing the sweetness level. Also the high abv helps out balancing the sweetness. Finish: Fermented, fruity. Pineapples and light strawberry notes. Honey. Palate then changes towards vegetal notes and tea notes. Finishes dry. Medium-long finish. Wow, this was quite the fruitbomb. This has to be my favorite rum from Savanna distillery(Hopefully so far).

Rums from the Savanna distillery are among my favorites. I recommend everyone try especially the ester-heavy pieces like Grand Arome or HERR. You haven't felt so much fruit in just a few drops of liquid for a long time.

On the nose, I smelled solvents, vinegared olive juice and a hint of chocolate too. A hint of candy, strawberry tagada and also tea (but I don't know which). On the palate, the alcohol is very well integrated. The solvent side comes through, with fruit that I didn't really have on the nose, and olive. The tea aspect is still very present. Medium finish, still the same notes but superbly balanced, a mix of everything.

Excellent! Really a beautiful choice of unshared cask, and it confirms again that the LMDW label promises above-standard quality. Combination of fruit, especially apples and strawberries and Haribo gummy bears and of course the cognac finish makes itself known.

Lacquer, gummy bears, fruits, artificial - really fun on the nose. On the palate then the continuation, although the taste unfortunately can't quite keep up with the nose, plus a minimal bitter off-note sneaks in. But overall still great Savanna cinema.

Very great fruity Savanna with lots of strawberry and pineapple both on the nose and palate. Great intensity and a very pleasant sweetness. Somewhere between an uncomplicated easy sipper and yet so complex that you like to leave it longer in the glass and analyze it. I like it very much.

One of the best Savannas out there. Sweetish, fruity with tropical fruits and strawberies, estery, I even get hints of gummy bears and flowers. I bought a bottle on the spur of the moment and wasn't dissapointed.
