Plum, raisin and a warm hit of port sweetness lead here, backed by vanilla, a little chocolate and light oak. Members call it an easy "everyday sipper" — fruity, round and soft at 40%. Great rum for a relaxed evening. And the price is top!

I think port wine is pretty tasty anyway and this rum has a sweet fruitiness that runs right through it. In addition to the complex fruit, there are spices, caramel and chocolate. The medium-long finish is dominated by plum and grape, with the sweetness rounding off the rum and making it mild.

Nice fruit tones. However, I find it too sweet and too short. Otherwise, 90 points would have been possible here.

24.10.2020 Lovely tasting arranged by one of my suppliers of rum. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, fruity, light wood, dried fruit, berries, sweet, Port. Palate Round, light, light wood, sweet, plum, Port, berries, spice, light roasted. Finish Medium long, lightly dry, faint nutts, dried fruit, sweet, plum.

Easy sipper for casual drinking, the basic profile is fruity and diluted down to a simple 40% ABV. The port wine brings a distinctive sweetness to the rum, of course also some raisin notes and dark fruits, hints of vanilla, light wood influences from the cask.

A very dominant Port finish. It works here, but unlike what i tasted tonight, there is not really the best of the blend shining through. It gets sweet and a little bit simpler. That being said, still a very solid blend.
