I’m a bit disappointed… I expected a bit more “garage feeling” notes 😎😬 It remind me on a Clairin, but a more balanced and enjoyable one. Nose: fermented, vinegar, vegetal, olive, grass, hokkaido pumpink 😎, sugarcane, hones and a cool raspberry note Palate: olives in a salt lake, grass, raspberry, sour, charred Finish: medium long fruity and vegetal

#4761 05.07.2024 Sampling a bit at home. Nose Fresh, sugarcane, light, sweet, pineapple, fruity, light vegetal, light floral. Palate Light oily, fruity, light sugarcane, light citrus, light vegetal, spicy. Finish Medium to long, light citrus, faint floral, light sugarcane.

Exciting project is this. 5 pre-casks. Pure terroir test.Nose: fermented fruit, fruit esters without end and also some fruit vinegar. Sweet-tart. Raspberry right up front, maybe elderberry or sloe. A honey sweetness and something very slightly mineral.Palate: like an Obstler raspberry spirit, the fruit is there but then quickly disappears and makes way for a mineral, slightly salty, metallic note. Hay and a light fruity essence on the finishVery similar to Clairin and also to River Antoine.

Fermented fruity nose with a strong note of olive and truffel, with a slight aroma of cucumber water. In the taste it is spicey and comes with a smoked chipotle chilli taste with a mix of dried fruits. I can admit it is comparable with a clairin. Not disappointed

I like the nose better than the palate here. The nose reminds me a lot of Clairins (specially the SonSon) … i smell Olive but also the earthy heavy side of black truffle. Also acidity like a fruity raspberry vinegar. A spectacular stretch in between clairin and agricole. On then palate then turned down some steps and a fruity (raspberry again) and mineralic (salt) taste that is dry. Taste is great but somehow not what i expect when nosing. Makes an awesome Daiquiri.

A nice fresh Agricole

Pretty intense on the nose. Less in taste. Nose even a bit mezcal/tabacco. Less in taste though. Quite soft in the mouth too. Interesting, pretty drinkable stuff. Not very outspoken but a nice mixture of subtle flavours.

Unbelievable nose! Favorite nose of any Renegades I tasted, but unfortunately the flavor and finish didn't meet those expectations for me.
Review by Gregor
Very intense clean Agricole. Without much frills. No missing tones. Very green and grassy both in smell and taste.

"The nose is very intense and reminds me of a Clairin. In the mouth, it is more like a fresh and somewhat more complex Agricole. I like it."
