#4762 05.07.2024 Sampling a bit at home. Nose Fresh, citrus, sugarcane, faint licorice, light mint, light herbs, faint medicinal, light floral. Palate Round, warm, sugarcane, light herbal, light citrus, faint medicinal, light floral, light earthy, medium spicy. Finish Medium long, round, light citrus, herbs, faint mint, faint iodine.

4. Pre-Cask, jetzt Colum-Still. Nase: krass, wie das gleiche Material sich mit einer anderen Destillation verändert… viel weniger vergoren, mehr Zitrus, etwas Birne aber insgesamt nicht so breit. Gaumen: der Grundgeschmack ist der gleiche, auch hier kommt etwas kräuteriges wurzeliges und bitteres, aber etwas abgerundeter. Hinten Heu und geschnittenes Geäst.

Dieser hier fällt im Vergleich etwas ab. Es überwiegen saure und bittere Noten. Aber bei Renegade experimentiert ja noch und das ist auch gut so.

So muss sich der Rasenmäher anfühlen wenn man ihn mit Don Q Crystal tankt. Der Abgang zu alkoholisch, in Nase und Mund kaum etwas als geschnitten Gras vorhanden.

"Falls a long way behind the pot still bottlings. Both the nose and the taste are thinner. Reminds me a little of an Agricole-Obstler mix with cucumber juice"
