4. Pre-Cask, now Column-Still. Nose: crazy how the same material changes with a different distillation... much less fermented, more citrus, some pear but overall not so broad. Palate: the basic taste is the same, here too there's something herbal, rooty and bitter, but a bit rounder. At the back hay and cut branches.

#4762 05.07.2024 Sampling a bit at home. Nose Fresh, citrus, sugarcane, faint licorice, light mint, light herbs, faint medicinal, light floral. Palate Round, warm, sugarcane, light herbal, light citrus, faint medicinal, light floral, light earthy, medium spicy. Finish Medium long, round, light citrus, herbs, faint mint, faint iodine.

So muss sich der Rasenmäher anfühlen wenn man ihn mit Don Q Crystal tankt. Der Abgang zu alkoholisch, in Nase und Mund kaum etwas als geschnitten Gras vorhanden.

This one falls a bit short in comparison. Sour and bitter notes dominate. But Renegade is still experimenting and that's a good thing.
