One taster said they'd recognize this Reimonenq blindfolded — and that's the draw. Seven years in oak gives you dried apricot, vanilla, red fruit (strawberry keeps coming up) and a grassy sugarcane edge, with a dry finish. It reads noticeably sweet for an agricole, enough that one member openly wondered if sugar was added. Softer and lighter than a classic dry agricole.

It has clear similarities with the “Cuvée Prestige”, but a little less intense. The nose is fruity and spicy with aromas of vanilla. At the palate it’s fruity, spicy, sweet and complex with flavors of licorice and vanilla. The finish is long and complex.

A fine agricultural rum, fruity and woody, but it's as if it lacks something in the balance of flavors. Tasted again and still not convinced.

Interesting chocolate note, paired with typical Agricole. Something smoky or leathery also comes to the fore. Dry, but still not spicy, rather a little sweet even. I like it a little better than the typical Agricole.

This is a very nice result thinking about the tender age of 7 years. The complexity is very good to excellent for such a young rum. Sweet and fruity and with a dry finish. I'll be coming back to this one again.

On the nose I immediately smell a beautiful note of coconut, a hint of vanilla and a slight green hint of sugarcane that confirms to me that what I have in my hands is an authentic agricole-style rum. On the palate I taste lots of red fruit, especially strawberry. Beautiful. However, I also feel an unexpected abundance of sweetness. Was sugar added??

A really nice dram, despite low abv. This is clearly Reimonenq, would recognise even in a blindtasting. Nice notes both in the nose and drink sides, dried apricots above everything, but also a lot of vanilla.
