"Un nez incroyable," as one French taster puts it — and that nose is the story here. Nougat, almond, sugarcane and a curious whiff of petrol, backed by warm spice. On the palate it turns nutty and creamy with real barrel influence, the alcohol tucked in well despite the modest 41.9%. A couple of members find the wood takes over and the body a touch thin, but most just enjoy the ride.

This is my favorite Rhum J.M! Nose: Atypical petrol notes(reminds me on 2000th BMMG’s) paired with anise and nougat surrounded by the typical notes of the sugarcane and almonds. Mouth: Is more on the fruity and sugarcane side with a good impact of the barrel. The alcohol and wood is integrated very well. Finish: Dry, cocoa, Eucalyptus?!?, woody, vanilla, mocha and licorice. Really delicious🤤

The nose is really inviting and offers a lot despite its low ABV. Fruity notes, some spices and a hint of polish are also present. On the palate, however, it is simply too flat and watery for me. Unfortunately, the finish is also very short.

Great spicy and nutty nose. Agricolic notes with a lot of barrel influence. Creamy, nutty and memories of nougat on the palate. Very well integrated alcohol. Very good Rhum Agricole!

Intense Agricole with lots of wood, cocoa in the taste, which are notes I do not usually find in Agricole. The nutty in the nose is replaced in the taste by nougat. A very different Agricole than I was allowed to taste so far.

04.03.2017 Whiskymessen by whisky.dk with a few friends and also trying some whisky samples. Notes. Well balanced and nice Agricole. Fresh profile with spicy palate. Bought a bottle that is long gone 😊

Exquisite nose of stewed fruits, beautiful tears on the glass, very beautiful dark copper color. Very soft and indulgent on the palate. Sweet and medium length but doesn't spoil anything. I like it a lot.

A great nose, nice spices for a pretty unusual profile that stands between St.James and neisson. On the nose the spicy side is balanced by some nutty notes that adds nicely. Low abv is not impairing the nosing experience, nor the tasting. Drink side, it begins nicely but the woody side is overwhelming and leaves little to no space to discover taste different from the spices
