Das ist wirklich ein Cubaner? Ich bin echt überrascht, blind wäre ich vermutlich nie darauf gekommen. Er ist sehr lecker und der Alkohol super integriert. Schande vermutlich über mein Haupt, aber aus dem Rest muss ich mir einen CubaLibre zum Genießen machen. Danke Chris für die Teilung und Erweiterung meines Horizonts.

Das ist doch endlich Mal ein wunderbarer Rum aus Kuba. Kräftig, Vielfältig, aromatisch. Die Nase lässt einen stark an Jamaica denken, speziell Worthy Park und teilweise Long Pond wären hier zu nennen. Am Gaumen wird es noch wesentlich breiter es ist beileibe nicht der gefälligste Rum. Aber ein sehr guter, charakterstarker.

Wurde da ein Fass vertauscht? Blind wäre ich wegen der dominierenden Minznote klar bei TDL. Einen Kubaner würde ich quasi ausschließen. Ich hatte bisher eigentlich nur langweilige Kubaner. Dieser passt überhaupt nichts ins Raster… Gunnar meinte allerdings, dass wohl alle 98er interessanter sind. Also muss ich mir mal den 98er Jahrgang genauer ansehen!

Rum Legends aus Kuba. Dieser 15 jährige Rum ist bereits in der Nase etwas holzig. Aber auch leicht Alkoholisch. Im Geschmack dann leicht rauchig aber auch alkoholisch. Aber gut eingebunden. Schon lecker.

Spannender Rum. Erstmal riesengroßen Dank an Gunnar für das Sample. Die Nase sehr einladend, intensiv mit schöner Mischung aus Tabak, pflanzlichen Noten, Gebäck und Frucht. Am Gaumen dann viel Holzeinfluss mit intensiven Pfeffer. Wirkt etwas unausgewogen und kantig. Definitiv einer der besseren Cuba Vertreter auch wenn die Nase mehr verspricht als der Rum halten kann.
