Ce J.M ne va pas me laisser un souvenir impérissable tant au nez qu en bouche. Il est très linéaire. On pourrait penser à un rhum paille. C est un rhum simple pour démarrer. Finale courte. Légèrement au dessus d une entrée de gamme.

The first JM that I like so little... it's very linear from nose to palate on wood and spices. Rather intended for mixology in my opinion.

Rhum J.M is Martinique's oldest surviving distillery, tucked into a lush volcanic valley in Macouba on the northern slopes of Mount Pelee. It is the only producer on the island that makes its rum entirely from its own cane, milled within an hour of cutting, and its brown-sugar signature has made J.M one of the most beloved agricole names with collectors.
