Nose: fresh citrus, vanilla and pastry notes The attack on the palate is again very (too) gentle on fruit and young wood. The finish is short, with notes of almond and, above all, bitter beer. As with Jamaica 2013, the Finish Duvel is clearly perceptible on the finish, but this rum is far too flat! Big disappointment with these 2 Finish Duvels. If anything, the Jamaica 2013 is even better than this Trinidad. But we've saved the best for last to raise the bar (and not by a little!) ...

Rather engaging on the nose but not much happens on the palate. A bit of spice, a bit of wood, a bit of bitterness. A very subtle caramel at the finish. Meh.

I think I can detect the beer in the nose and finish, but only because I know, like, and regularly enjoy Duvel. Otherwise, it's a bit thin.

I find it difficult to judge this rum. He is very light in all aspects and little ... well ... intrusive 😉Am prominent is still the finish with bitter hop notes.I prefer strong rums - this is not one of them.
