Bottle Market Bremen October 2024. Really nice Plantation here. Nose is slightly sweetish, vanilla stands out here, but not too much. On the palate also slightly sweet, vanilla and especially brown sugar can be tasted here. Top.

Easy sipper. Sometimes I taste the alcohol more integrated, sometimes it bothers me with a slight alcoholic note, not just on the nose but also on the palate. I like it for its flavor profile and age, simple, uncomplicated, slightly fruity, caramel and vanilla for in-between. I really have to imagine notes of mint and herbs, so for me it's not a typical TDL, more like a more pleasing rum from Barbados. I also like it better than many releases from Barbados with a similar profile in this price range, which I find more one-dimensional and boring in comparison.

This one is incredibly easy-drinking and disappears way too fast. 12 g/l dosage is indicated. It doesn't taste like a classic Trinidad rum either. You can sense the mint if you really look for it. But whatever! Perfect to end the day during the week.
