Panama marks the first stop on this world tour with a rum distilled in 2008, featuring warm notes of fruit, sweet spices and chocolate. Delightful news for rum fans!

Fruity with spices from nose to finish with a bit of nuts, caramel and chocolate. Not your typical Panama rum, but pretty close and I like that you get the multi cask maturing. Would have loved a higher ABV :-) Price to quality is extremely good.

Tasting 19/4-24 Peters vin. Nose: Vanilla, fruity with some red berries, and some caramel.. Taste: Some sweet tobacco and caramel, some oaky notes. Finish: again some oak, light smoke, and dryness..

This Panama rum is not bad but also not particularly exciting. Sweetness, wood and spiciness are dominant. Behind it a few dried fruits. Price to performance is ok.
