Beautiful matte bottle under 100 euros. You can feel the alcohol, but very drinkable. I recommend it even to beginner rum drinkers to discover new flavors. The mint from TDL is an unmistakable taste that you will never get tired of.

👃 is very harsh for me even after sitting in for good 15-20 minutes. Mostly it is synthetic, alcohol, paint thinners and wood but somewhere in the distance there is vanilla and chocolate, typical angostura nose but this time kind of harsh and alcoholic. 👅 Is also kind of chemical, synthetic and surprisingly enough a little bit fruity and minty too. I like mint but it is not very prominent in this one. After some time the vegetal notes are coming up front in the long finish. There are some notes that remind me (for me) very bad scotch such as Johnie Walker Red Label and its malt and grain. This taste however is mixing up with the mint in the finish so it is not that bad but I am not a huge fan of this rum. I will retaste however maybe the taste will change after different meal.

19.03.2022 A nice evening planned by a friend of mine at this wonderful location. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Light wood, honey, light medicinal, light varnish, herbs, light mint, light apple. Palate Fresh, light wood, mint, varnish, light medicinal, herbs, fruity, faint nutts. Finish Long and warm, light wood, mint, light herbs, light medicinal, light nutts.

A very pleasant piece from Albert Michler. Nose full of fruity tones, teas and also a bit of that Trinidad dirt. Surprisingly intense on the palate considering the lower ABV. Same notes of fruit, mint and a bit of technique. Pleasant finish.

Finally I have a sample of this really interesting filling. Aroma is smooth and gently, consider to the higher ABV. Most dominant scents are tropical fruits and those technical scents. There is hint of sweet scent of honey with combination of wood. For me this taste is typical Trinidad. At first smooth and gently, after that I had tropical fruit/technical combo bomb in my mouth. Technical flavors are dominant (glue mostly) with combination of sharp/spicy flavor with a hint of sweet (honey) flavor and smoke. Finish is great not long or too strong but at the same time not short and not boring at all. Great rum, I need to open my bottle asap and try another sample with friends. Just try it. I added a new photo (finally I have the whole bottle).

First, I fell in love with our famous Trinidad for RUM CZ/SK and now the absolutely fabulous Jamaica, great Guyana, and very pleasant duo from Fiji.
