Review by Bavarian Rum Lover
Great bouquet and aroma: fresh flower meadow with honey, very fragile and soft in the mouth, on the finish pushes the oak and there is a formal explosion of flavor. The alcohol at 56.5% is not felt in any way, blind I would have guessed no more than 46%. A wonderfully round, friendly and fresh Bielle without corners and edges, which invites both to enjoy and to carouse. Absolute buy recommendation at a price of about 90€ and deserved 89 points with air to the top with a few weeks / months of oxidation.

Magnifique brut de fût de chez Bielle, quelle puissance, quelle longueur, un vrai bonheur!
Review by Rene Pfeiffer
Very smooth, sweet and fruity rum. Has something of flowery honey. A little grassy, not too much. Wood also comes through on the palate, but more in the finish. Not really long and complex, but tasty. I really like it.
Review by TheRhumhoe
A Bielle that combines the aromatic sweetness and strength of the brut de fût. The nose is reminiscent of dried fruits, grass, spices and wood with a hint of honey embellishing the whole. The rum evolves on the palate towards mirabelle plum, candied fruits, chilli and menthol, allowing the flavors to express themselves freely with a high but hardly noticeable alcohol level. The finish reveals more woody, vanilla, spicy and chocolate notes on a bitter background. A complete, rich and elegant rum that is a credit to its house.

Extremely light and vibrant nose with dried apricot, raisins and a bitter acidic touch from yuzu. Reasonably oak influenced with lots of vanilla. Refined honey and canned peaches induce some serious mouth-watering sweetness. Then freshly cut grass, sliced cucumber and kaffir leaves. Fresh, minty and very flowery base. A more concentrated profile in the mouth. Lightly bitter, but especially dry. We still get spoiled with dried fruits, honey and yuzu. This time accompanied by heavily sugared candied fruits. More barrel notes with not only oak and vanilla, but also cinnamon, pine and light peppers. The grass and mint are dialed down, but the flowers get cranked up. Quite lovely. Short, dry, but very fresh and lightly smoked finish with more yuzu, grass, resin and barrel. Honestly I enjoyed the nose very much and would have liked it to come through even more on the palate. The barrel has rounded off the flavours a little too much. Still, I think the quality is very high.

The white fine barrels used here bring a beautiful grape sweetness and appropriate tannins into play, which harmonize well with the already beautiful distillate from Marie Galante. Add to this the toasty vanilla base of the bourbon barrels and you have a fine agricole with considerable complexity!

Freshness paired with wood and the right dose of sweetness - an elegant Bielle in full bloom. White undoubtedly to please and scores with balance. Very nice bottling.

Wonderful sweet Bielle, has the right mix of fruits and creamy Nougat/Vanilla paired with a great mouthfeel. Alcohol is hardly noticeable, yet still has enough power to transport the flavors. Great choice and even the white wine finish works well here.

The sweetest agricole I've ever had. Honey, floral, cut grass, plum sweetness, vanilla, menthol. Long finish. It may lack more complexity, but it's an extremely enjoyable rum to sip with a wonderfully integrated alcohol.

8,2:On the nose, the first impression we get is a bit waxy, varnished, woody with beeswax. A hint of menthol comes in and the woodiness with vanilla and light caramel are felt. There is a ripe, juicy sugarcane, earthy. With aeration, the sugarcane pairs with fruitier, bourbon fruits, herbal aromas, with the orchard fruits usually tender to Bielle rums. Mirabelle plum and peach play the game of hide and seek, become dried later, while remaining linked to candied vegetal, for a gourmet profile. 8,5:On the palate the attack is warm, round and balanced, alcohol integration is top. The sugarcane and its cooked juice with hints of licorice and anise, melt into menthol and aromatics. The rum is now honey candied and fresh, mineral, fruity with dried fruits, balanced, the wood dry, spicy, a bit roasted with caramel, sweet wine notes are present and not intrusive. 8,3:The finish is woody and peppery, dry, long, the sugarcane is fresh, mineral and fruity, a bit flowery. Edit:9.2.25 Still very pleasant...

A friend takes out this bottle he brought back from Guadeloupe. It's bielle, it's good, it's quite smooth with a nice sweetness. I don't think the sweet wine barrel is necessary, as it adds extra sweetness. I prefer classic Bourbon aging.

Very nice and round bielle. Extremely drinkable and yet complex enough. I like very much!

Tasting this after the 10y 45%. Less layered. More spirit forward/less rum. More white wine. Good but might be better in another order. Like to try again.

Comparison between 2014 brut de fût.More expressive profile but also less balanced with less well integrated alcohol. Fresher than its brother but also less elegant.
Review by Werner10
A nice woody profile with a good sweetness and a bit dry. Perfect for those that love whisky imo.
