#4042 Keep'em coming, this is the good stuff 😊 Again a very fruity release with nice floral notes. Spicy and oily palate with some esters and natural sweetness. Price to quality is very good in my mind and I like the caramel and herbal notes in the empty glass.

Clearly more esters and alcohol on the nose compared to the Hampden! But not unpleasant. The palate is nicely balanced, creamy and intense… towards the end some spice comes in. The finish is velvety, spicy, and intense! A successful bottling.

For being overproof, it's pretty soft towards the end. I can smell plum, earth, light banana, grass, but also sweet fruits. Yeah, it's good.

This rum is the definition of bringing out the heavy artillery. The nose is phenomenally concentrated and powerful, carried by funky notes, overripe fruits, and a very fresh floral touch. You can make out olive, but also fermented notes leaning towards cheese, as well as an animal side that hints at meat. A beastly and intense profile. The attack on the palate doesn’t leave you indifferent: a funky explosion overwhelms the palate with fruity flavors, on one side citrus and tropical fruits, and on the other medicinal flavors with notes of esters, glue, solvents, and fermentation. The vegetal side is more restrained but gives way to unexpected spicy notes. The tannins settle in at the end of the palate. The alcohol is remarkably well integrated. Despite the rather rustic and structured profile, it has a long but quite fine and elegant finish. Fruits, caramel, and spices bring a certain indulgence, while vegetal and phenolic notes add their share of intensity. A superb white rum, which can be enjoyed neat or in mixology to boost a cocktail.

A nose packed with strawberries, esters, and chemicals. I also slightly detect a hint of cheese, saltiness, and meat like in some Haitian rums. A fabulous mix. I can't help it, but the body reminds me of Savanna Herr, towards the end more like caramel, etc. Excellent white rum.

Nice vegetal notes, rubber and tar, acetone, really pleasant, a very good "very high ester" in my opinion, more than what I've tasted in Dok for example.

Tres joli nez de fruits tropicaux gorgés de sucre, des esters bien presents, quelques solvants. En bouche, c est gras et tapisse bien le palais. Toujours sur les memes marqueurs, piquant jyste ce qu il faut en fin de bouche. Une legere fraise pointe son nez a la fin. Finale plutot longue et tres legerement amere. Une belle reussite.

A decent unaged Jamaica rum that can be found for a reasonable price. The nose has lots of esters, chemical notes, and fruit; the taste is a bit rougher, with mineral tones and even olives. I recommend it more for cocktails; as a neat rum, it's for connoisseurs.

This is an incredibly fun pour. The funk is through the roof but the profile is pretty different from Hampden, which is my reference for ester levels this high. This hits both more umami and mineral notes, with less of the rotting fruits.
