Nose nice, mouth drops sharply. Too bitter for me for the young age. It gets better with water.

Delicious Ten Cane with dark fruit and toasty notes. Not the best I've tasted from there so far, but good. In addition to the dark, dry notes, I still have a grassy note that shows up only very subtly and that I can hardly grasp. Unfortunately, also a bit spicy and for that taste too much restrained. In another barrel with a little more maturity, this could have been a really strong bottling. So for me to sort rather in the midfield.

Solid Ten Cane! Fruity on the nose. Initially pleasant sweetness on the palate, followed by spiciness and the alcohol lingers pleasantly strong in the aftertaste. Delicious!

My first Ten Cane. You immediately smell that it is not a molasses rum, but still different from French agricoles. Along with the vegetal note comes a good portion of caramel and vanilla. On the palate, red fruits, especially sour cherries and tannins/wood, dark chocolate, strongly roasted coffee/espresso, which harmonize very nicely. Biggest and only downside is the rather short, not very intense finish. Otherwise, it would strongly head towards 90/100.

Nose: candied fruit/floral/spices Liquorish palate: chocolate/spice/blackberry Long, expressive finish: prunes/black chocolate I really enjoyed this bottle. Another great selection from RumStylez with CDI (after the Savanna). I'll try to find out more about this distillery...
