Minty, licorice-tinged St. Lucia sipper Rest it it a a and glass — a light-oa, banana and vanilla open up alongside eucalyptus, licorice and mint. At 45% the alcohol sits fine, though a few tasters find it thin and simple rather than deep. Before you give this rum a go, make sure you rest it for a while because that releases more flavours. The nose has very light oak to it. Fruit, vanilla is wonderfully balanced with eucalyptus, licorice and light herbal notes. The finish is medium long with fruits, licorice and vanilla. In the back there is a faint oak note.

Although my expectations were not high, I must admit I was surprised. In a blind tasting, I wouldn't hesitate to guess TDL. Smoky oak aroma, with mint and licorice. Alcohol integrated, could be higher ABV, pepper and spices, licorice and you have it. Pleasant.

Nice rum with a tart sweetness that later increasingly turns into wood and mint notes. Overall a smooth drop with a very good price-performance ratio. 👍🥃

Spicy, slightly woody and caramelized taste. Alcohol moderately integrated. Not complex enough, simple aromas and average finish. Good value for money.
