Sipped neat it reads floral and fresh up front — narcissus, coconut powder, orange zest — then turns sharply peppery and vegetal from the young American oak. Many members actually preferred it in a ti punch, where the flan-coco and lime side comes alive. Just one year old, so it's spicy and a little unbalanced, but a lot of Agricole drinkers found plenty to like.

I think that was my first Agricole. The very floral grassy clashes for me with the barrel note from aging. Maybe an unaged Agricole is more to my taste or it's just not my rum category. The barrel notes from rather young wood feel unpleasant to me compared to the floral grassy contrast.

Not enough notes taken in the moment. To be retested. From memory, had something more than the fruit of the rains. Re-tested under the same conditions. And same impression that it is more pleasant than the rum from the other plot.

A high-quality Agricole, whose short maturation period comes into its own. A very harmonious and spicy nose. Compared to the Fruits Des Pluies, the creamy and soft tones are much more pronounced on the palate thanks to the American oak. In addition to floral and spicy elements, beautiful fruity notes such as mirabelle plums and other yellow fruits are recognizable. Floral and herbal tea notes are present and remain over the medium-long finish. If you like drinking Agricole, you can't go wrong here.

A young wood-aged rum offering nice sweet and spicy notes at first on the nose, with some floral and fruity notes and a discreet woodiness forming a fairly homogeneous and soft whole. On the palate, the fruity, vegetal, and woody notes are more in the background, due to a spicier and peppery side taking over. The finish remains dominated by spices, with a sensation of warmth and bitterness that persists for a short length. An interesting rum for a young age statement, but overall unbalanced and lacking character to really assert itself.

Of their 4 rums available for tasting, this is the one I liked the least. It definitely has the characteristics of an agricole, but I was bothered by its too peppery, even spicy side. Maybe too short aging.

Tested at the Rhumfest, with a great welcome. Perfect timing, I really wanted to taste these new agricoles I'd heard good things about. And in the end, not disappointed! What a nice surprise for such a young juice. Can't wait to see what it becomes in a few years but it's promising. I found 'fleurs du vent' underneath, the aging in American oak gives it less depth than 'fruit des pluies'.

This is a rather new destillery and they rent the destillation time at a competitor. I tried all the rums they had at the German Rum Fest and thinking about the price tage you get a lot for your money. Fresh and fruity with some spices. Very well done for such a young rum and destillery.

The American barrel recognizable, quite round. On the nose: slight cane, vanilla, nuts, coconut. On the palate: vegetal, orange, vanilla, woody. The finish rather oriented towards sweetness, spiced up with some spices. Not really my profile, too nutty.

👃 A fairly typical agricole nose where you find this classic framework of very lightly candied sugarcane, fruit tree flowers and their fruits (citrus, orchard fruits, dried, tropical) as well as a young and spicy woodiness. A fresh and piquant ensemble. 😋 The agricultural straightforwardness, candied sugarcane with still relative freshness, on a more vegetal and spicy side. Fresh cut herbs, quite lively spices (chili, pepper) meet a citrus side. Dry and warm profile. ⛳ Medium length, a vegetal, fresh and vanilla side that I like, on the other hand a relative astringency and bitterness less pleasant on a vinegar associated with yellow lemon. 💡 I love their white Plein Soleil, but I find the ESB below par. Let's see what it gives with more aging. P.S. The Karakoli and the brin d'amour with a few more months of aging do better for my taste.

A very floral, almost heady nose of narcissus, with a fair amount of powdered coconut and a light woodiness. Very pleasant. A rather discreet palate, more on sweet spices: pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg. Clearly not a complex old rum. But a young rum aged in wood. The finish returns to damp, earthy wood. A very short finish with a hint of oak, even cork, like a wine that's been corked a little. Very unpleasant! It makes up for it all in the ti punch, and the wet cardboard aspect disappears completely for a superb alliance between coconut flan and lime.

Young, agricole, lively, very fresh, nothing very surprising in itself. Relatively classic nose but works very well with a nice touch of apricot very nice. The palate is even more vegetal and floral. The whole is very aromatic. I like it a lot. Just the bottle, perfume-like, less my thing...

A fairly young agricole rum, maybe still too young. Tasted twice several months apart, the second time was better, the rum was more open, more fruity, less "sharp" and overall more fruity.

Pastry nose: coconut/vanilla/orange zest. Spicy mouth: spices/young wood. Bitter and spicy finish. I admit I clearly preferred the white over this amber, which seems a bit too ordinary for my taste. Not enough woodiness to really enjoy it and not enough fresh cane character like a white can have. But since I'm not a big fan of ambers, I'm probably not the right customer...

A wonderful young Agricole. On the nose aromas of orange peel, vanilla and a hint of coconut. On the palate a strong note of black pepper and young wood. A medium-long finish with a light note of black tea. Definitely worth a try in Ti Punch.

Light straw color, impressive for a rum. Straightforward on the palate but ultimately very smooth, you’d think it’s 42 degrees... Discreet on yellow fruits, maybe exotic, but a touch of bitterness brought by the vegetal side. Finish with a fine woody note.

First full caramel and cotton candy, then the spicy notes come in and the sweet turns into cookie dough. The finish is a bit short, otherwise great taste.

Potpourri sugar water. Initial smell is super floral. In fact, the smell of this comes off more complex than it does once in your mouth. There we’ve still got some florals, and some white pepper on the finish. Light golden hue, a little darker than the Plein Soleil and about the same in colour as the Fruits of the Rains. Plenty of oak in the finish, though softer than the Fruits of the Rains. Some vanilla. It’s probably the best of the three from Baie des Tresors I tried in a flight.

Nice, lightly aged Agricole with spicy notes. On the nose grassy and spicy. On the palate the spice notes dominate with pepper, allspice and chili and pleasant wood notes come through, especially in the medium-long finish. Personally, I prefer fruitier notes like in Fruits des Pluies, but I find Fleurs du Vent very tasty in a Ti Punch.
