Considering the relative low ABV this rum still manages to pull all the right stops on your nose and palate. Fruity with light spices and well integrated wood. I wrote that the minty note was really nice and refreshing. The empty glass had some leather and heavier licorice notes.

A very woody nose, old varnished wood, dried fruits, apricot and vegetal freshness. The first palate is diluted, a bit weak, then the aromas rise a bit but then stop and quickly fade away. The finish is short, most of the aromas disappearing quickly.
