#5758 28.09.2025 Day two of the Whisky Live 2025, which this year looks better organized/arranged inside. This is an average rum and an OK price tag in my mind. Light wood with some citrus, pear and light tannins. The palate is light spicy but easy drinkable for most.

A very Reunion Island nose for this rum: wood first, then fruit. A gourmand touch brought by vanilla. Spices. And that typical touch from this origin. It's appealing. Disappointing entry on the palate. The attack is very light and the heavy dilution is felt with a rum a bit too watery. The spices, pepper and wood come to shake this too light attack before tropical fruits settle in. Woody and peppery finish rather long considering the initial attack. Nice. Too diluted for my taste but interesting nonetheless.
