My RumRatings review from 6 years ago: The rum is grassy fruity on the nose with some sharpness. Classic Agricole notes. On the palate, many fruity floral notes come through. Sugarcane and wood as well as vanilla from the oak make the rum complex. There is also sharpness and for me, the rum is not a light sipper. It requires attention and desire. The Depaz VSOP was my first Agricole and at first, I wasn't quite ready for the topic. I bought the first bottle around 2014. Only late, towards the end of the bottle, did I come to appreciate the rum and engage with it intensively. Thanks to Zacapa and co., I was initially on the wrong track. Therefore, one of the rums I will probably buy again out of respect. Luckily, at the end of 2021, I found another bottle at a local beverage dealer at the original price. Crazy world.

Old bottle retrieved in my father's cave. Classic flavours of an old rhum agricole, very floral and fruity. Very easy to drink, the taste of alcohol is very light. We drank the bottle for New year eve.

It's good. It goes down easily. It's indulgent with medium complexity and medium length as well. Very easy to drink.
