This rum from the Beenleigh distillery in Australia is a release coming out of a collaboration between Ferroni and Guillaume de Roany. It has benefited from 3 stages of aging: First 3 years in Bourbon barrels on site in Australia Secondly 14 months additional ageing in Beaumes de Venise Muscat barrels Third and final a ageing in small 50-litre Pedro Ximenez sherry casks during a round trip between France and the Caribbean. After this aging it’s bottled in just 95 bottles. Overall a very tasty, smooth and elegant rum.

Also dieser Beenleigh gefällt mir schon sehr. Die Nase wirkt überwiegend holzig. Schokolade und eine gewisse Süße sind aber auch zu erkennen. Am Gaumen kommt er dann irgendwie dunkel daher (dunkle) Schokolade und Kakao.
