Fresh-cut cane, olive brine and a floral, almost salty-marine edge — this is an unaged Martinique white built around raw sugarcane juice. Several tasters call the nose powerful and honeyed, the palate oily with citrus zest and a little ginger spice. At 67.5% the alcohol runs hot but reads well-integrated to most. One reviewer found it "un peu trop végétal" — too green for their taste.

Advent calendar tasting %17 There's a great work behind this white rum, you can feel that there's research to get this kind of aroma. Even if it's not my thing, I have to admit it's very well made and very good. A bit too vegetal for me.

Exceptional nose on sugarcane and honey 🍯. Gourmand palate on cane and vegetal. Herbal finish.

Fresh cane, vegetal as it should be, with a slight spicy note (ginger). The nose is powerful, with pronounced intensity. On the palate, we keep the fresh cane, a zest of citrus and the spices are more marked. The power is still there, I find the alcohol well integrated. The finish is rather long and simple. Very good rum 😉

Exceptional white rum, with big floral notes, to be drunk without adding anything, to be enjoyed sip by sip to soak up its high alcoholic content. This is the very essence of a white rum, with no additions or cheating.

On the nose, pungent matured fruits (melon, lychee, papaya), citrus and a sharp note of garlic. On the palate, it remains pungent, the alcohol is not very well integrated, and you can still feel the sharp note that I don't like. In the finish some citrus. Unfortunately not for me.
