#6079 18.12.2025 Need some samples to clean up my palate after another very sweet rum from my Christmas Calendar. Nose Fresh, fruity, citrus, light sugarcane, light floral, vegetal, light medicinal. Palate Oily, sugarcane, naturally sweet, peppery, warm, light iodine, citrus, light grass, olive, light salt. Finish Medium to long, oily, sugarcane, citrus, olive, salt, light iodine. Empty glass Sugarcane, citrus, light iodine, light floral, light olive. After a long time the glass becomes more flowery and has a rose like touch to it.

👃 rather atypical, after a few minutes of airing, you can feel a desire to move away from the standards of the AOC Martinique. It reminds more of a eau de vie than a rum but with typical rum aromas: lime, licorice and earthy notes. 👄 along the same lines with medium aromatic intensity and a bit disappointing considering the price of the bottle. Average finish. A good white rum but in my opinion way too expensive considering what it offers.
