02-09.04.2022 This was crazy week, where some friends and I rented a nice summerhouse on Rømø. The plan was to go nuts for a whole week with different rums without going overboard. The final agreement came to 6 rums a day and then enjoy nice walks or ferry rides during the day. Notes Very dark in colour. Nose Wood, light roasted, dried fruit, plum, berries, light caramel, spice, cinnamon. Palate Oily, complex, balanced, spices, light earthy, wood, light roasted, light caramel, light anise, plum, faint cherry. Finish Medium to long, wood, lightly sweet, oily, prunes, raisin, spice, light chocolate.

Guayana at a decent price :). Really enjoyable uncorking on a friend's recommendation definitely worth having a bottle at home :)

A complex but approachable Demerara with a nice balance between PX sherry sweetness and classic rum spice. Authentic, profound and perfect for connoisseurs who appreciate elegance without additives. Not a typical "sherry bomb" rum, but a good sipper.
