How does Savanna Plantation La Réunion (Sélection exclusive V&B) 2005 taste?
Dry, woody Savanna with menthol bite
If you like structured, dry Savannas and barrel-driven profiles, this is a rewarding pick; if you expect lush sweetness or classic Grand Arôme funk, it’ll feel too dry and woody.
Those sensitive to high ABV or looking for sweet, soft rums; drinkers who dislike dryness, astringency or pronounced wood bitterness.

Pas l’impression d’avoir un Savanna en bouche, beaucoup de rondeur et gourmandise dû au fût de bourbon et à l’agricole. Degusté a la soirée Rhum Club Paris (Hôtel Maison Mère)

A little bit too dry
#4553 18.01.2024 Flipping a few samples today ☺️ A pretty ok release with a medium fruity and medium dry profile. The Agricole notes are also there and the palate has some added grass and roasted note. The finish is medium to long with light dryness. There is a faint cherry and caramel note in the profile. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass has light coffee and faint chocolate.
